A meaningful scaffold quotation depends on the system, dimensions, loading, site access, hire duration or purchase quantity, transport, erection, supervision, inspection, dismantling, design and document requirements. Request a written project-specific quotation.

Define the physical scope

Useful dimensions include working height, length, width, number of lifts, access points and obstructions. The intended activity and materials on the platform help define loading and platform needs. Photos may help orientation, but critical dimensions and site conditions must be confirmed.

Delivery access, lifting or manual handling constraints, permitted working hours and storage arrangements can affect the proposed work and logistics.

Separate supply from regulated work

A quotation should distinguish equipment supply or rental from design, delivery, erection, supervision, inspection and dismantling. It should name the responsible parties and state which documents are included.

Where an ASC or PE is required, that requirement must be satisfied for the actual project. It should not be implied by a generic equipment price.

Treat the written quotation as the commercial source

Prices, availability and dates can change with the verified scope. A quotation should state its validity, taxes, transport, minimum periods, exclusions and the process for variations.
